Position Description

Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opening in the Augusta, Maine area. Beautiful scenic community.

1 hour from Portland.

Join the superb medical staff of Maines newest hospitals for. This physician-led medical center is Maines third largest healthcare system.

  • You will be employed by the hospital 
  • Practice in a dedicated Outpatient Wound Clinic with a new Hyperbaric chamber on site. 
  • As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform outpatient procedures (including occasional use of the hyperbaric chamber), provide consults and follow-ups, see post-op patients, and occasionally round on inpatients, participating in their discharges. 
  • Provide education to patients, family members and other caregivers. 
  • This medical center is home to an unopposed Family Medicine residency program, so opportunities to teach physician residents may be available.
